Your responsibilities:

We’re looking for senior cell scientist excited by the challenges of creating cell-based meat! As a senior scientist you will lead the cell culture development team to create robust, scalable and low-cost protocols. You will manage the lab including writing standard operating procedures and protocols. You will work to create novel formulations of cell culture media to significantly reduce its cost. You will also work towards creating consistent animal cell lines. It is an exciting opportunity to solve complex problems regarding cell culture!

You have:

• A PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related fields

• Experience with pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs preferable)

• The ability to work independently in experiment design, execution and optimization

• A track record in working on complex and multidisciplinary projects

You might also have:

•  Experience with mammalian cells

• Strong record with scientific publications

• Experience working with serum free media

• Experience with muscle and fat protocols
